To call the Kanga mini digger an earthmover seems generous. When I think of earthmoving I imagine 40 tonne excavators, big bobcats and tipper trucks….and bob the builder! Having said all that, the prerequisite for fitting the earthmoving category is to move…earth!
40 tonne+1 day+Kanga mini digger=earthmover
We had a client hire the Kanga last Saturday with a simple task. Move 40 tonne of dirt from the front yard, to the back yard in one day. It may seem obvious, but the Kanga makes light work of an otherwise backbreaking weekend of shoveling and wheel-barrowing. We’ve given you the math before about how long a process like this will take for your job. Just as a refresher;
- The bucket is .1m3.
- 1m3 is roughly 1.5 tonne of dirt
- 10 bucket loads is approximately 1m3 or 1.5 tonne
- Work out your ‘turn around time’. Ie how long each bucket will take to load, travel to your dump site and return.
- Number of bucket loads X turn around time will give you an idea of how long those tonnes of dirt will need to disappear!
There really isn’t anything else quite like a Kanga mini digger to shift your dirt in tight access locations. It makes sense physically, economically and mentally! You can keep your health AND add ‘earthmover’ to your curriculum vitae. Not only that but you can get some serious itunes time cutting all those load turn arounds! If you were dedicated, you could probably learn another language at the same time!. Be an earthmover in your own backyard today and hire a Kanga mini digger to shift your piles of dirt.
