Most people that hire our Kanga diggers are doing something that is reasonably predictable. Hole boring for fences, trenching fot electrical water or gas, excavating for paving, concreting and lawns. But every now and then we come across something new. Last weekend I was introduced to the concept of ‘natural swimming pools’. No, don’t make the assumption I did that these are simply ‘salt water pools’. These ‘natural swimming pools’ are set apart from chlorine and salt water pools.
God made man-man made the kanga digger!
This couple hired our Kanga Kid digger to start converting their existing swimming pool to a natural pool. The concept is pretty basic in that beside the actual pool, a pond of sorts is constructed. This pond has reeds and plants to ‘naturally’ filter the water that is pumped from the swimming pool. Given that my knowledge on swimming pools is right up there with the how vegemite is made, that is about all I know on the subject. What I do know is the ‘natural’ choice to dig that pond! In this case the access was less that 1050mm so the were in need of our Kanga kid. Then with the 4-in-1 bucket and some persistence, they brought the first stage of their project to reality. Take a look at some photos to inspire you to install your own natural pool! This couple were originally quoted $4,000 for this part of their project. They hired our Kanga Kid over two days for $390 and they had some fun as well!
Make the natural choice when doing stuff with dirt and hire a kanga digger to get your job done.
